Children’s Christmas Party

Hello Everyone,

It is that time of year! This is a reminder that we will be hosting our Children’s Christmas Party on December 4th, 2022 starting at noon.  As always, the party is open to children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews of all club members. Food and drink will be provided for the kids, as well as make your own ice cream sundaes. There will be face painting, decorate your own gingerbread cookies and arts and crafts! The party will start at Noon and this year Santa will arrive at 1 PM. Santa’s helpers will deliver packages for the kids (that you, the member provides).
Please clearly mark your child’s name on each package so that Santa’s elves can read them.

If you are planning on attending this party, please contact Laura Veno.

CMP – Match Clinic

Please come down and join us on Saturday October 8, 2022 from 9:00 AM – Noon (weather permitting) for our monthly CMP Match Clinic. This will be the last match of the 2022 season!

These match clinics allow people the opportunity to shoot M1 Garand or AR-15 rifles in a structured but fun setting. M1 Garand or AR-15 rifles can be provided.  If you have your own favorite centerfire rifle please bring it.

The event is conducted in a match format (5 rounds for practice, 10 rounds prone, 10 rounds sitting or kneeling, and 10 rounds standing), but the competition is secondary to the experience of firing these two iconic military firearms.

We will be practicing social distancing and disinfecting club provided rifles between shooters in order to ensure the health and safety of all.

The cost for each match is $20 for ammunition (.30-06 or .223) and there is no cost if you bring your own ammunition. Minors must have a parent or guardian present.

Come down and shoot a piece of history!
