Tewksbury Rod and Gun is planning its annual Youth Sports Day to be held on October 26th from 12pm to 4pm, at our Club. Families are most welcome, and bring your eligible youth shooter(s) as well. At this event you can meet with the coaching staff members of two of the region’s best- and well-established youth shooting programs, the Tewksbury Junior League .22 cal. rifle program and the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP), for competitive shotgun and clay targets. Information will be provided for each program such as required safety, cost, and personal equipment required to join a team. Both programs are affordable by most families. Stop in to learn and ask as many questions as you may have about our shooting season schedules, staff’s coaching and training qualifications, and more.
We want all boys and girls to better understand their safety responsibilities when competing with firearms. While doing this, we want our kids to enjoy the sport and learn the skills required to succeed at their shooting sports. We hope to see all of you at the open house!
